Brrrrr...its cold outside. The neighborhood does look really pretty, though.

Other Christmas Decor...

Here are a few more festive touches around the house. No tree this year, but the tension pole lamp in our living room is proving to be a substitute. We even threw a few ornaments around the lamp!

The tea towels show a design by Tammis Keefe. I can't find much information on her. This link is the best I've found: http://fashionsfinest.fuzzylizzie.com/tammiskeefe.html. Any information would be most welcome.

Hugs

Here's a little reminder that we keep around the house.

Glockenspiel

Happy Holidays! We are not decorating too much this year, but we did want to set out a few of our favorite holiday pieces. The glockenspiel is a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the candles that power the top fan and start the glockenspiel in motion got warped in our attic. I am still looking for candles, but hope to find them soon.

Nursery Decorations

Karl is doing an AMAZING job on the decorations for the baby's room. We are going with the Babar theme as it is nice and gender neutral. Can't wait to hang them up!

Keeping Busy...

Still working and squeezing in social activity before the baby arrives. Yesterday, we saw the Fantastic Mr. Fox - http://www.fantasticmrfoxmovie.com. It was great and that crazy stop-motion animation was pure fun and way cooler than CGI!

This evening we met up with our good friends Louise and Dean at Greek Islands for a wonderful meal. It was great catching up with them and getting the scoop on the classical music/opera world. Did I mention Louise is a fabulous pianist? Check it out: http://cedillerecords.org/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=356_360&products_id=536

We also attended our neighborhood Christmas party hosted by Linda and Kevin. How fortunate we are to have such lovely neighbors! It really feels like the holidays now!
